Listen to what artists have to say about their track

If Only I Knew
“If Only I Knew” was great fun to create. A lot of the time I would end up going to the studio all day and coming home with not much, maybe the pressure can limit my creativity. I’ll get back to my flat and sit down at the piano and just let my fingers find their way on the keys. This is exactly how this track came to be.
Denis Sulta
Ethereal
My Intention for “Ethereal” was to transport the feeling of excitement, of the unknown, the fact that you have to surrender and trust once you hop on a plane and go somewhere.
Ann Clue
Mama
'Mama' captures our authentic musical journey, inspired by our stories and roots in the rural Eastern Cape, South Africa.
Bantwanas
Blackbird SR-71
I feel I have too much power , that I die and be reborn strong and no one can stop me ! Like a wild horse running free in nature , with no owner!!!
Indira Paganotto
Kids never stop dancing
Playing at the Cercle festival at the Air and Space Museum in my hometown was an unforgettable experience. (…) It was the very first time I played it and definitely one of the most unique moments I've ever experienced."
Notre Dame
Drowning
“Drowning” reflects a very emotional and empathetic side of my personality. Playing at Cercle festival was truly a special experience. When I played the track, the reaction was incredible; people really felt it, and the energy was unforgettable. This moment will forever live rent-free in my mind.
Brina Knauss
Kako
When I played this track under the Concorde at the Cercle Festival, it felt like time stopped. I was truly enjoying the moment to the fullest. It’s a music that brings people together and makes them happy, just like I was at that moment.
Romain Garcia

WHAT’S MATTER?

Matter is a way to explore the bond we cherish between music and the world. For those tracks, we made a unique video series and created a lab where matter dances to our music. With the help of the Australian filmmaker Josef Gatti, we visualize how unexplored dimensions of our reality react to the frequencies of the tracks.
« In a time where CGI and AI are becoming prevalent, there is a real value in seeing something real, something physical and tangible. My artistic approach is to facilitate epic visuals through natural phenomena — and encourage nature's mechanisms to create and drive the matter. I like to describe the process as somewhere between art and science, which implements a variety of cinematography techniques (timelapse, slow motion, and macro lenses). »
Josef Gatti, filmaker.
« Matter is a way to shed new light on our original tracks, to create a unique link between the artist's musical worlds and the real world. With this new audio-visual experiment we wish to open in the simplest way possible a small new Cercle dimension. »
Mathieu Glissant, Cercle's video director.

« In order to create the 8 covers of the compilation, we start with a discussion with the artists, asking them three questions: What color does the track evoke in you? What word comes to mind when you listen to the track? What emotion did you feel while composing it? Then, I interpreted their responses to connect them to their tracks and Josef Gatti’s stills and create 8 unique and personalized artworks, each allowing great creative expression! » Lisa Lecomte, Cercle's Graphic Designer.

Q&A

Find answers to common questions about the compilation.

When will I receive my vinyl?

As it’s a pre-order, we’ll launch production when the pre-order phase is over. Your vinyl will be shipped on November 29th.

What does pre-order mean precisely?

Pre-ordering helps to avoid over-production and waste, for a way more ecological production. It also avoid overstocking, as it serves as an indicator for knowing the right amount to produce. Pre-order allows you to reserve your copy to avoid potential stock shortages and gives us enough logistical flexibility to deliver to you on time.

Returns policy

You have 14 days after the delivery date to return your product. It has to be returned to Bigwax Distribution, at your costs, in its original condition, meaning it should be in a new state and in the packaging in which it was delivered. Return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer, except in the case of a clear error during order preparation.
